EVERYMAN'S POCKET POETS

Inspired by Hokusai’s wood bock print titled “The Great Wave of Kanagawa” I decided to illustrate three pocket-sized books that have collections of poems ranging from the ocean to the Wild West. The scale contrast between the subject and the dramatic landscape is the main concept. The front and back cover is meant to be one continuous landscape.
