We started 2 months in advance to create a campaign that will persuade viewers to donate to our cause. We came up with several tag-lines. We ended up picking “If it’s never been done be the first.” because many of the students we serve become first-generation college students. We also wanted to be number one in the number of donations we raised.

Once we solidified our tagline, we wanted to create an event logo that was Apollo themed. What’s a better representation of being the first than the first man landing on the moon?

After the logos were finalized, I decided to create several poster mockups of the campaign. It was essential for the design to catch the eye of the viewer and have important information such as our foundation’s name (Children Deserve a Chance) and the date of the fundraiser.

To get the most donations we devised a plan to use are strongest supporters our students. I created a Facebook/Instagram profile picture for 50 students.

Here are patches created for one of the incentive pieces, the bomber jacket. For the day of we were able to get over 6000 individual donations and over a million dollars total in donations.
